SC Technological Institute is committed to providing comprehensive support services to help every student achieve their educational and career goals.
Upon enrollment, SCTI provides academic advising by assigning an academic advisor who assists the student in attaining educational goals. The advisor works directly with each student to provide academic advisement, guidance, and prompt feedback.
Academic counseling is available to all students during admission and throughout the program. Problems the institution cannot address will be referred to community organizations that can provide appropriate assistance.
The school offers career services including job search skills training, resume writing, and interview preparation. The school maintains a network of professionals and employers who provide mentoring to support student career development.
Students and faculty have access to SC Technological Institute Online Library via Aquinas Network, providing round-the-clock access to instructional, academic, and research resources. All Zoom sessions are recorded and available in the LMS for review.
24/7 technical assistance is available via email at info@sctechinstitute.org. Our support team is dedicated to ensuring students have uninterrupted access to all learning platforms and resources.
All instruction is delivered online through 16-week terms via Moodle LMS with synchronous instruction, discussions, assignments, readings, and projects.
Each student receives a username and password for their personal Moodle page with course materials, assignments, and grades.
Synchronous live classes conducted daily via Zoom for real-time interaction with instructors and peers.
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM EST. All sessions are recorded and available in the LMS.
Students need a personal computer with internet access to participate in all online coursework and live sessions.
SC Technological Institute uses the following grading system to evaluate student performance.
